How it works
- Mandate. You send the invoices, contract and correspondence. A senior partner reviews the file within 24 hours and we agree the fee in writing.
- Letter of demand within 5 working days. A formal, properly drafted letter of demand with a firm deadline.
- Negotiation and settlement. We push for payment in full, or a documented settlement or instalment plan — only with your written approval.
- Legal action via solicitors where needed. Civil suit, or for company debts of RM 50,000 or more a section 466 notice.
- Enforcement. If a judgment goes unpaid: garnishee orders, seizure and sale, or a judgment debtor summons.
Lawful collection, on the record
Our process is documented from the first letter. No harassment, no threats, no shaming, and no improper contact with third parties. That protects your reputation as much as the debtor's rights — and it holds up if the matter goes to court. CIRN & CO is not a law firm; litigation is conducted through solicitors. For how the two roles differ, read debt collection agency vs lawyer in Malaysia, and on what it costs, how no win no fee collection works.
